About Louise and Simon of Griffith Tours
Established in 2014, Griffith Tours is a family owned business operated by husband and wife team, Simon and Louise Crook. It was the first tour operator of its kind in the south-west New South Wales town of Griffith – affectionately known as the food bowl of Australia.

As locals to Hanwood, Simon and Louise both grew up on horticultural farms and have an extensive insider knowledge of Griffith and the surrounding Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. Simon and Louise spent over 40 years working in the wine industry before deciding to apply their passion and expertise to introduce visitors to the wonders of this beautiful part of Australia.
At Griffith Tours, we aim to showcase the agriculture highlights of the area, while educating visitors on the importance of the unique irrigation system and its rich history that dates all the way back to the early 1900s. We also show off the award-winning wineries and world-renowned food producers, with delicious tastings to be sampled along the way.
Each tour is tailored to suit the different seasonal conditions, ensuring a memorable experience at any time of year. We deliver our tours with personalised care, customising our itineraries to suit the requirements of different age groups and special interests.
